Im doing this because....
As a Corrections Officer I should be in good shape and also to feel healthier and have more energy.

My goal is to....
Complete the program and motivate others to do so as well either while I'm doing the program, or after and they see the results that can be achieved.

So there we have it...

Those are my results! My 90 days from Meh to Wow has started!

I ended up working on the site last night with a little behind the scenes stuff to make the site run better incase the site really picks up and we get traffic to it more so then we have already in the short 2 weeks its been up. So I didn't go to bed till 330 in the morning. I work the midnight shift but I called out cause I knew I had the fit test to take and wanted to do some stuff with the site.

Woke up around 10 and was feeling really sluggish I knew I had the fit test but just wasnt yet in the mind set. But I knew I had to get it started. So I started with the measurements first being I could sit for the most part and take those. Then I moved onto the pictures this probably took the longest as I had to set up the camera and tripod take test shots so I could make sure I was in the picture completely from head to toe etc. Then I started the actual fit test.

Resting Heart Rate-
Was right on the 'average' side of the chart for my age ( 28 ). I layed down on the couch for the flat on my back so that I was 'resting'. Not much to say about this, and Im not sure what a goal would be for this either. So anything lower then 70 would be cool.

Pullups-
I was aiming for 8 and came shy of that my mark that 6th one without a doubt put me to 'do as many as you can until failure'. But I made sure to have excellent form, fully extending down and making sure my chin was over the bar. I hope to be able to do 16 when the 90 days is over.

Verical Leap-
this was actually hard to measure. I had to go out side and measure from a part of the roof to the ground and then measure how far from the ground up the side of the house I could touch. Then when I jumped see which number I was touching and then subtract the overall height from the part of the roof I was measuring down from while the tape measure was hanging out. So this number could be off but I think its right. as I used to be able to touch the basketball rim, and thats 10 foot. Not sure what my goal for this could be but Ill go with adding 6" would be good, I think (??)

Pushups-
Blah I was aiming for 24 but missed my goal by 4. I was using the 'perfect pushups' for this and was turning my hands/arms just like they make you do instead of 'locking' my arms. I did this cause thats the way I plan to during the workouts. Goal for this one 60!

Wall Squat-
WTF Seriously, when I was reading the description of how this was done I thought I wasnt understanding it correctly so I did a quick youtube search and sure enough I wasnt wrong of how I was thinking this was done. But man did I under estimate this one! I got 2:14 as my time I actually think I could have done better but I did these workouts without a shirt on so I was sweating already so I felt myself slipping down the wall. Since it says dont 'scoot' so I didn't. But wow the end of that 2:14 my legs dropped out. I got up off the ground and my legs were jelly. I'm not sure what to set as a goal for this as I didn't think I was going to make it to the 1 minute mark, cause 20 seconds in I looked at the watch and it seemed way longer then 20 seconds. Illl set the goal at north of 4 minutes.

Bicep curls-
Yea how fun. 11 reps with the 25 pounders. Actually more then I thought I could do I set a goal of 8. This is something I want to improve on 'greatlty' Which would be 3 times this amount so Im going to go with a goal of 33 reps with the 25 pounders. I def want to improve my arm stretch in these next 90 days.

In & Outs
I have done the Ab Ripper X workout a few times in the past. These are part of the 'crunchy frogs' which my body does not seem to want to do correctly. Arms and legs are supposed to come in together. But my body decides to put arms out and legs in, then the legs go out and the arms come in. For some reason I cant sync my body to do crunch frogs correctly. But the In & Outs I did about even with what thought I'd be able to do because I knew what they were without having to go on youtube for a video demo. Goal for these at the end of the 90 days will be 50.

Heart Rate Maximizer-
Jumping Jacks super as if I didn't do enough of these 2 years ago when I was going through the police academy ( I'm a corrections officer ). We would have to do these for 1-5 minutes, or 300-600 without stopping. The time or amount depended on how the squad was performing that day. Lets just say we were closer to the 5 minute and 600 mark each day. Not fun. But I wasnt sure what my max heart rate would come up as I know Ive had it over 200 numerous times before and when resting it drops into the 50s. Im using the same exact heart rate monitor for the last 3 years. So Im all over the map here. As far as a goal here Im not sure at all. I know I stopped breathing in through my nose out through my mouth after the second minute so thats probably why it dropped so slowly over the next few minutes. Well either that or my heart is really out of shape.

So there we have it fit test, measurements and pictures completed!
