Whew!

by icequeen on 09-20-2010 at 08:19 AM
So here I am, back in Boston (this time, unfortunately, only as a guest), and let me tell you, first thing this morning I hit up the hotel gym for about an hour, doing some P90X goodness (some arms and back, ab ripper, yoga moves) and spending awhile on a treadmill, which, while I am doing better than expected with the cardio, clearly I have some more work to do on that front.
I've reached a point where I can definitely see some changes, specifically (I think I've mentioned this already,

I'm alone...lol

by icequeen on 09-18-2010 at 02:11 PM
So, for something different today I figured I would try out Insanity. Doing the 30 minute fit test, I was WIPED. Holy crap. Definitely see a lot of similarities between the FT itself and the P90X Plyo workout, though I feel that Insanity has some more intense moves. My heart rate was also in a fairly similar range, I'd say between 150-160 the whole time.

Plyo

by icequeen on 09-10-2010 at 07:13 AM
Well, i did some Plyo on Wednesday, and felt pretty good on the whole. For the record, I still hate the Hot Feet exercise, but was able to do one on both feet (wow, whoop-de-doo, lol) My HR was about 140-160 the whole time, so I consider that to be pretty good.

Back and Biceps

by icequeen on 09-04-2010 at 09:17 AM
Whew! This went a bit better than Chest, Shoulders, and Triceps did, probably because I was using weights instead of doing regular bodywork. For most of the weightlifting moves, I was using 15's instead of 25's. Ab ripper X felt good today too, lol, but I really need to do some Yoga.

the real week 5- Chest, Shoulders, Back

by icequeen on 09-01-2010 at 10:08 AM
So, my first outing with CSB was...less than impressive. It doesn't help that for some of the wide push-ups I just don't have the room for them. I'm going to try and do some Plyo later on today, as well as Back and Biceps. It's hotter than Hell up here though, so don't quote me on that...

How is everyone else doing (hint, hint?)
