P90X - Day 8 - Chest & Back Review

Much Better All Around!

Okay so on day 1 I had to take a 20 minute or so breather cause I was dizzy lightheaded etc. so I made it a goal of mine to finish this exercise without having to stop. Well Goal completed! But not only did I complete the goal I did better with all the exercises. What a difference 1 week makes.

You can see this weeks results in blue, in black were last weeks results which was week 1 day 1.

P90X - 1st Week Done Review

Okay so here we are day 7 of P90X which is a rest day or the day where you do the X Stretch dvd. So thats what I did, I rested. But I rested by taking an 8 hour shift at work. So my rest day was working 16 hours, instead of my normal work day of doing just 8. So it wasnt really a rest day. But heres my thoughts on week 1.

P90X - Day 6 - Kenpo X Reseults

Posting this a day late, actually two days late now.

I really enjoyed Kenpo X. Probably because I used to do karate for 8 years, and only stopped cause I turned 16 and had to get a job so that I could get a car. Looking back the car could have waited as I wish I stayed in karate. So this is probably the reason why I liked Kenpo so much. I had a lot of fun and it wasn't really tiring, yea I worked up a sweat but my heart rate stayed in the 140s.

P90X - Day 5 - Legs and Back Review

Okay this post is a day behind since my internet was out yesterday.

Anyways Legs & Back was pretty good. What I didnt like about it right away is that they didnt have you record the reps and weights if you used them. On some of the exercises I used 10 pound weights, and others I didn't. Some exercises I was able to do the entire 20 or 25 reps whichever was needed on maybe two or three I did probably five less. For the wall squat, HA! 90 seconds my ass. I was able to do much better

Okay well from reading other blogs and message boards I knew not to expect the normal 'yoga' being I never had done yoga before I was expecting worse then what the yoga x offered. I thought it was rather boring. I did feel it as a good workout and Im less sore now after it all then I was before I started. I got a late start on it today.
